The Waiting - confetti

I have been working steadily, I have done a lot of the black to the left, you can see it is higher up than before, also I have done a fair bit of confetti here and there which means my progress is not as noticeable this week, but if you compare to the previous picture you can see the difference.

Most of this progress was done today, I took the fabric off the frame and am stitching without it... I am stitching much faster!

The Waiting Update

I have actually done quite a bit more since this photo was taken a few days ago but you will have to wait until my next update!

I have gotten into a routine the last few days, in the daytime I work on The Waiting and at night I work on Cabin Fever...it is suiting me...

I ordered a lap frame on ebay from someone who makes them in England. So that should make it easier to do The Waiting as my hand gets sore holding the frame all the time as it is quite heavy...

Cabin Fever Update

I have been meaning to post for a while but things have happened the last couple of weeks, my Dad was admitted to hospital for pneumonia and I was visiting every day. He's home now and he is much better...

I have been working steadily on Cabin Fever and have done quite a bit. I have also worked a bit on The Waiting. I have ordered a frame so I can work with it a bit better as I will be posting to Our Friend's HAED SAL again soon...

Ok here is my progress with restarting The Waiting. I am starting from the bottom of the picture instead of the top so I am not redoing what I already have done...

That white area is the bottom part of the tiger, there was a fair bit of confetti in that area...

It's stitching up well...and no cramps in my hand this time....

Cabin Fever Update

I have done quite a bit more on Cabin Fever.

I have restarted The Waiting, I received the material about 3 days ago, prepared it, put it onto a frame and done over 800 stitches...

The unspeakable

I am about to buy some 18 count off white Aida and restart 'The Waiting'. I'll start from the bottom this time so I don't feel like I am doing the same thing over and over...

Oh the pain of starting again after I have completed nearly 12 pages....my hand just can't take anymore...
